- I live in the inner city of Sydney, Australia, in Darlinghurst, to be precise. DARLING-IT-HURTS, as it is affectionately known by locals. Traditionally the boho quarter of Sydney, but things change. SEE: http://dear_raed.blogspot.com/ THE BAGDAD BLOGS, was my inspiration to start my own blog. The Bagdad Blogs, were written as the US Govt. prepared to invade Iraq, this time. Loads of it is written as the bombs rain down... Eventually the CIA closed it. It's been made into a movie and book. The war continues, without an end in sight and so do our lives and all it's little wars... There are always many sides to every story and there is always the real truth which can be hard to get at. But we know it's out there!! The truth is often overlooked, misunderstood, contorted or rewritten to serve some other purpose, and yet everything spins on it... Even SPIN! We all strive to get some regardless, where ever we can find it... Fittingly, someone once said, "Show business, is all about the truth and once you can fake that, you've got it made!" A great quote. This blog, SYDNEY_BLOG, has some of my little pieces of fictional truth in it. PLEASE ENJOY!
